Fareham & DARC was founded over 40 years ago, to pursue the technical exploration and development of amateur radio by a sharing of knowledge among its members. We always welcome new members, and anyone who has an interest in amateur radio.

This year our club project is a single valve radio. You can create your own or follow this link to a
regenerative receiver using a 12AU7 or ECC82 twin triode that works very well.

The club meets every Wednesday evening from 19:30 at the Fareham Sailing and Motor Boat Club.

Meetings include

Quiz evenings.
Junk sales.
RSGB Foundation course.
Guest speakers.
Participating in various contests.
Supporting local community events.

Club radio nets:

On 2 metres (normally 145.475MHz) every Tuesday from 20:00 local time.
On HF somewhere around 1964kHz (depending on the QRM) every Thursday from 19:30 local time.

The club is affiliated to the RSGB and holds the callsigns G3VEF and GB4HMS.
